With over 5000 sq. ft. to work with, we were able to include pathways that gently curved around the pool from the BBQ area, past to the badminton lawn to the vegetable garden beyond.

And yes, we included a small putting green adjacent to the pathway (courtesy of Heavenly Greens).
The entire yard was designed to maximize casual usage of rolling pathways, not only connecting more intimate with the larger patio areas but also providing guests areas to explore and stroll on those lazy summer evenings.
