"Don was thorough, organized and creative. Best of all, he listened carefully to what wanted before he began the design…

"I would highly recommend Designs by Don for anyone's landscaping project."

The long expanse of driveway is interrupted visually by a creek gently running "through" it and culminating in a small path of dwarf fescue/bluegrass lawn next to the sidewalk (which will do better in the hot MH summers).

Sweeping walkway welcomes you to the back yard.

Bottom of creek actually serves as a catch basin for rainwater overflow and to provide a place for the water to percolate into the soil rather than simply run off onto the street (deep watering for shrubs means less additional irrigation!)

Back yard starts quite "young" with smaller plants spotted at their mature locations—this provides not only cost savings but the younger plants establish more quickly (less transplant shock) and will catch up with (and pass) their larger versions in a couple of years. (Pathway leads to quiet getaway area around corner of house.)

The overall theme: capture as much rainfall as possible  (while looking good doing it)
